If your Windows VPS displays a message like “Windows license will expire soon”, you can renew the Windows license status using the slmgr /rearm command.

Follow the steps below to renew your VPS license manually.

Step 1 — Connect to Your VPS

Log in to your Windows VPS using Remote Desktop (RDP).

Step 2 — Open Command Prompt as Administrator

1. Open the Start Menu
2. Search for CMD
3. Right-click on Command Prompt
4. Click Run as Administrator

Step 3 — Run the Renewal Command

Execute the following command:

slmgr /rearm

You should receive a confirmation message after the command completes successfully.

Step 4 — Restart the VPS

You may also restart the VPS manually from the Windows Start Menu.

Important Notes

• This process may need to be repeated every 6 months to keep the Windows VPS license status renewed.
